A Glance at September 18 - 22

Brilliant Work!!!

Thank you cast for a great week.  Cast members are coming prepared and communicating with professional attitudes.  The team work is tremendous!

Here are a couple of items for "homework".

Please look or ask if you have any used house paint that you can donate to our production.

Please notice, we have added two documents to the right side: "Act 1 Blocking" and "Prop List".  Please take time to reference these document.

• transfer your blocking into your own books.
• check the prop list and see if you might have items that are available for us to use

Friday's class, later this week will be starting the organization of props and other odd work projects. 

In the future, I will send a Remind message if there is something special that I want to you check prior to rehearsal within this document.

Ms. Engel in the theatre:

3:40 – 4:30 - Scene 5 -  Review song and block the scene (Children, Captain, and Maria)

4:30 – 5:10 – Scene 13 – Block (Mother Abbess and Maria)

Ms. AG in the choir room:

3:35 – 3:50 – Scene 13 – “Climb Ev’ry Mountain” (Mother Abbess, singing)

3:50 – 4:30 – Scene 12 – “Morning Hymn” (all nuns singing)

4:30 – 5:15 -  Scene 11 – “So Long, Farewell”

    (children sing with Ms. AG)

5:15 – 6:00 – Scene 11 – “So Long Farewell” – Mary does choreo with children

5:15 – 6:00 – Scene 9 - “How Can Love Survive?” (Max, Elsa, Captain, singing)

Thursday, September 21

3:40 – Full cast for all who are NOT at Divisional Choir Camp – You will be doing various production jobs as directed by Ms. Engel.  We will be working, so please bring clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.  

4:30 – 5:15 – Scene 6 – Review (Liesl and Rolf)

5:15 – 6:00 – Scene 2 – “The Sound of Music” – Review of song (if done on September 15) and do blocking (Maria)

-       Scene 4 – Reprise of “My Favorite Things” (Maria, sing and block)
